Search Campaigns - Limited Use SEM Ad Copy Content :

You may not use "official site" in ad copy, registration/trademark symbols, couture.zappos.com, brand URLs as display URLs, or price points in ad copy. Zappos.com cannot be associated with "discount" terms like: coupon(s), replicates, knock-offs of low prices, bargains, discounts, cheap, deals, inexpensive, blow out, reasonably priced, thrifty, sales, etc. Therefore, affiliates are not allowed to use these terms in the ad copy, ad description AND search terms. You may not use "Free Overnight Shipping" or 110% price protection as Zappos.com no longer has these policies. The submission of Zappos.com data feeds to Google Products and or any other comparison engines is prohibited. Your ad copy content in pay-per-click ads may not contain (either as all or as part of its name) the word “zappos” or any derivation thereof mentioned in the "Search Campaigns - Protected SEM Bidding Keywords" section above. Ad copy content includes, but is not limited to, the following: display URL, titles, headlines, and descriptions.

Publishers may only use coupons and promotional codes that are provided exclusively through cuelinks

Non-Commissionable Items :

Zappos VIP sales are not commissionable in the Zappos.com Associates Program. In addition to the chargebacks and restrictions on commissions outlined in Section 4 of the Zappos.com, Inc. Special Terms and Conditions, the following conditions will result in a correction or a reversal of commission: associate sales in which a customer uses a Rewards, coupon or discount code. Birkenstock products, including the family of brands (Birkenstock, Birkenstock Kids, and Birkenstock 1774), are not commissionable in the Zappos.com Associates Program.

Miscellaneous - Special Instructions :

Publishers may only use offers, promotional codes and coupons that are provided exclusively through the affiliate program. This includes site-wide or otherwise publicly available offers such as free shipping, which may not be used as or referred to as a coupon or exclusive offer.


Search Campaigns - Special Instructions for Search Marketing Publishers :

Trademark bidding: Affiliates are not allowed to bid on Zappos or 6pm brand or trademark terms on any search engine regardless of whether the brand or trademark term appears in the ad copy. Broad, exact, phrase, and negative matching: Affiliates may not broad, exact, or phrase match using any of the protected SEM bidding keywords mentioned in the "Search Campaigns - Protected SEM Bidding Keywords" section above. In the event that an affiliate engages in Search Engine Marketing, the affiliate must apply phrase-match negative keywords including Zappos, www.zappos.com, Zappos.com, 6pm, www.6pm.com, 6pm.com, or any derivations mentioned in the "Search Campaigns - Protected SEM Bidding Keywords" section above. A phrase-match negative is a tool that will prevent an ad from being shown when a specific term is entered by a user of a search engine. For example, bidding on the phrase "Zappos.com shoes" is not allowed. However, negative matching on "Zappos.com" and bidding on "shoes" without our trademark term is okay and remains compliant to our program's policy.

Web Site - Prohibited Web Site Domain Keywords :

Your domain name(s) may not contain (either as all or as part of its name) the word “zappos” or a derivation mentioned in the "Search Campaigns - Protected SEM Bidding Keywords" section above.You may use the word “zappos” to the right of the domain-name suffix (for example, you cannot use the domain name www.slippers-zappos.com, but you may use the domain name www. slippersforever.com/zappos). Additionally, you may not use any brand name carried on Zappos.com in your domain name.

Web Site - Prohibited Web Site Content :

The use of any couture.zappos.com products/links/banners is prohibited unless otherwise approved by the Zappos team. Please contact us if seeking special permission.Publishers may not offer (or imply that there is an offer of) discounts or coupons relating to Zappos.com or our products or services. Publishers can only promote brands that are included in the data feed.
