Search Campaigns - Protected SEM Bidding Keywords
Use of Argos Trademarks: Argos does not permit publishers to bid on the Argos brand, any of its own brands or any misspelling/variations of these in paid search marketing (PPC). Publishers are also required to negative match these terms in their PPC campaigns.
Search Campaigns - Special Instructions for Search Marketing Publishers
Bidding on the ‘Argos’ trademark is not allowed either directly or as part of a broad match. To conform with this ‘Argos’ should be applied as a negative match to all PPC campaigns to avoid any broad matching issues. This is inclusive of but not limited to ‘argos.co.uk’, ‘argos vouchers’ ‘argos discount’ ‘argos catalogue’ and any misspellings of the Argos brand.
This is not allowed and this includes through content networks. Your display URL may only feature the Argos brand after the third ‘/’ e.g. www.affiliate.com/argos
Using Argos Brand in Ad text, description or title
This is also prohibited, inclusive of but not limited to ‘argos.co.uk’, ‘argos vouchers’ ‘argos discount’ ‘argos catalogue’ and any misspellings of the Argos brand.
Web Site - Prohibited Web Site Content
Duplication of content: Argos does not permit publishers to directly copy any content from the Argos website. Whilst this may be a useful reference point, please ensure that all content you use is unique.
